The ultimate game of two halves.
First half Bulls so far off the pace and commitment it wasnt true. Macca missed so much as a ball winner in midfield and Purds does not strike a blow in anger to win the ball. Back four jittery and Horse all out of sorts. A new keeper beckons for sure, very lucky to get away with a blunder that would have seen the visitors go 2 0 up. Plan B was to wack it long and with no target man it was futile and embarassing.
Second half was as if Clark Kent had visited the phone box. the ball got passed, momentum built and meaningful challenges were seen. And we began to play, properly.
Horse 4 Sorry, not at the races. Error strewn first half and many better at this level.
Oates 6 Quiet first half and unlucky with OG for visitors opener.
Bowen 8.5 MOTM contender. One of very few to come out of the whole 90 with real credit. Will play higher.
Greener 7 I’m a huge fan , but looked jittery in the first half. Also guilty of wacking it long with no target man on the pitch. Played his part in the revival.
Deaman 7 Not match fit but clearly can play. Another with first half nerves.
Refell. 8.5 MOTM. No one epitomised the game of two halves more than Keyon. But his amazing 2nd half performance and solo goal of the season contender gets him the nod.
Purds 4 Just shocking for someone replacing the main ball winner. Hardly won a tackle or picked up a second ball all afternoon. I’m a fan, but this was very disappointing.
Dinsley 6 Huffed and puffed in first half but lifted his passing game in second half.
Preen 6 very little service second half and looking livlier as his full back tired when subbed.
Smith 7 little service early on but troubled the visiting defence with his intelligent running in second period.
Mills 8.5 MOTM contender. The goal machine notches two more. a pen which he won, and a Millsy classic left and right chop in the box before cooly slotting home. How long before the Conference clubs come sniffing?
Page 7 Lively cameo which included hitting the bar
Pablo 6 Little chance to make an impact
Fans. 8 Amazing. Stuck behind the team during the torrid first half. Turned up in great numbers (2596) considering the traffic chaos and lack of parking in Hereford these days courtesy of Herefordshire council.
Referee 7 Not bad, tried not to book players. Got most things right. Gave the Bulls a lucky break when he ruled a foul after Horse dropped a high ball. Phew…
Beads watch Must have wondered where the composure and passing game had gone during the first half from his reshuffled side. Maybe it was the half time team talk but should take the credit for an excellent second half display.

Spot on john midfield first half was woeful
Purdie not in game dinzo hapless wighoout
Plan b to launch it played straight into their hands
If dinzo has knock they need to bring on
Bird who in training has been outstanding
Symmo will have to start against
Physical Eastleigh side
