Another win as the Bulls hunt down the Championship. But this was no routine victory against a determined and organised home side who played 50 minutes with 10 men on a tricky pitch.
rumours that the game came close to being called off while the home groundsman did bugger all when a roller over 1 goalmouth would have helped a lot.

A special word for the real MOTM the home goalkeeper who kept his side in it until Macca’s 91st minute winner from a corner (purdie, who else!) . A string of fine saves including Symmos pen. (no idea why Purdie did not take it)

Puddy 8 faultless but very little shot stopping required.
Oates 6.5 Not at his best. Got forward well but final ball quality not there. Misjudged challenges a couple times.
Liburd 9 MOTM. Won absolutly everything and great use of the ball. Jamie Cureton who?
O’shea 7 Committed himself a couple of times without making the ball.
Pring 8 Got forward well, always an outlet.
Refell 7 Good first half but seemed to be playing a game of “How close the byline can I get before crossing” and wasted some chances to cross.
Richards 6 Struggled with the surface and getting the ball under control at times. Not up to his recent good form.
Haysham 7 His more forward role not so much suited to Symmo. Did OK.
Purdie 7 decent but why oh why did he not take then pen? Comical goal celebration thats worth finding on Youtube.
M-Williams. 6 Did not give width on the left and the sides shape suffered. Struggled with first touch at times. Fortunate to get the pen maybe.
Symmo. 8 Got into good positions and on another might have had a hat trick of headed goals. Missed a pen.

Mills 7.5 Looked sharp on as sub.
Deaman 7 Fine as O’sheas replacement. Little to do.
McGrath 8 Must be close to a recall. Looked sharp and grabbed the late winner with lovely run and header.

Fans 8 400+ and good support for the second further away trip of the season.

Referee 7 Fine. Got most right. Maybe our pen a bit soft. Not sure why home fans moaned about the red, it was a definite two yellows.

Beads watch. Oshea in for Green was automatic and he will be concerned as to whether O’Shea will be fit for Tuesday. But overall will be delighted by the performance if not the finishing. 1 more win and 3 sucessive promotions will be acheived, fantastic acheivement!
